Buy your roof more time
Riverview Roof Rejuvenation to Delay a Costly Re-Roof
An insurer flagging the roof's age, or an inspector calling it near the end — that does not always mean a replacement is due. When the shingles are tired but sound, a soy-based treatment revives them in an afternoon and buys the roof more years before you spend on a new one.

Where you stand with us
Buys five to seven years
On an asphalt roof that is still structurally fine, one treatment typically earns another five to seven years before replacement is genuinely on the table.
We assess before we price
The shingles are inspected first. If a treatment will not move the needle on your roof, we say so and skip the sale.
The figure comes first
You learn the cost, and what sits inside it, before any product is opened — never a surprise added mid-job.
What we do
One focused job: reviving asphalt shingle roofs that are tired yet still have real service left in them.
Asphalt Shingle Roof Rejuvenation
A soy-based spray that revives tired asphalt shingles — suppleness restored, mineral held — so a sound roof defers the day a replacement is due.

Why an aging shingle loses the fight
Every asphalt shingle leans on the oils inside its binder to stay supple and to grip the mineral granules on its face. Years of Florida sun cook those oils off. Robbed of them, the shingle hardens, splits at the edges and lets go of the granules that block UV — and once that mineral layer thins, the asphalt underneath weathers quickly. Rejuvenation answers that directly: a soybean-based oil is sprayed on and drawn into the mat, returning enough of the lost oil that the shingle bends again and keeps a tighter hold on what granules remain. It maintains a roof that is still sound; it is not a remedy for one that already leaks.
The treated shingle yields in the heat rather than snapping at a seam.
A firmer hold on the granules means fewer are lost to the next downpour.
The roof is revived in place — no stripping, no hauling, no bin by the drive.
Is yours a roof we can treat?
A short inspection answers it. The treatment fits roofs that have aged but remain intact.
A roof we can help
- Asphalt shingles that have been up around ten to twenty years
- Dry indoors — no leaks, and firm decking below
- Shingles sitting flat, dulled and losing mineral but not torn open
- A roof you would rather nurse along than replace just yet
A roof past treating
- Moisture reaching the attic, or marks on the ceilings
- Shingles blown off, curled stiff or cracked right through
- Tile, metal or flat surfaces — our work is asphalt shingle only
- A roof whose structure is simply spent

Why Riverview owners trust the work to us
A real extension, not a guess
On a sound asphalt roof a single application commonly returns flexibility and granule hold for another five to seven years — the reason the spend makes sense.
We will turn a job down
If the roof is beyond the point a treatment can help, we tell you outright instead of taking work that will not deliver.
Costed before we climb
The price and its scope are settled before the crew is on the roof, so nothing lands on the bill after the fact.
We stay reachable
We answer the phone, book around the forecast, and circle back once the treatment has had time to cure.
How it works
The way a job runs
We inspect
We gauge how supple the shingles are, how much mineral they have lost, their age and any damage, then give you an honest verdict and a figure.
We shore up
A handful of loose shingles, a bare nail or a tired pipe boot are noted and sorted so the oil lands on a solid surface.
We treat
On a rain-free day the soy-based oil is laid across the whole roof, evenly — a matter of hours from first pass to last.
We check back
You get a clear write-up of the work and a steer on roughly when the roof will be ready for its next pass.
Told you need a new roof?
Before you commit to a replacement, let us read the shingles — a treatment may well carry the roof a good while longer.
Where we work
Reviving asphalt roofs throughout Riverview and south Hillsborough — Gibsonton and Apollo Beach down to Ruskin, out to Valrico and Lithia.
What people ask
What is the treatment actually doing to the roof?
It works plant oils down into the mat so the shingles soften again and grip their granules harder. That slows the decline of a roof that is still basically sound.
How do I know my roof can be treated?
It needs to be asphalt shingle, worn but whole, with nothing getting in. A brief inspection confirms it — and if the roof has gone past saving, we will say so before anything else.
Will it help with insurance or selling the house?
A sound, recently treated roof is one fewer flag on an inspection and shows the roof has been cared for. It is not a stand-in for a replacement when a roof is genuinely finished, but it can buy room while you plan.
Does it really slow the granule loss?
It tightens the hold on the granules still in place, so fewer rinse into the gutters each storm. It cannot bring back mineral that has already washed away.
How long does it take, and must I be there?
The spray is a matter of hours on a rain-free day, and your presence is not required — we agree the plan with you well before the crew arrives.
Is the product safe around family, pets and the yard?
It is a plant-oil based treatment, and we shield gutters, beds and surfaces as we work. We are glad to go over anything specific in your yard beforehand.
How often will the roof need treating again?
It works on a cycle measured in years, not as a one-off. After the first pass we will suggest a sensible spacing for your particular roof.

A small outfit, one trade
We are a Riverview crew that does shingle rejuvenation and leaves the rest alone. Where a roof suits the treatment we do it with care; where it does not, we will say so outright and point you toward whatever the roof truly needs.
